As though I didn't already have more than enough to do already in the realm of works in progress, I've snapped up one of the prompts for the
Goodreads M/M Romance group's 'Love is Always Write' event. Of all the Dear Author letters, there was just something about
this one that reached out and grabbed me. It's very unlike anything I would come up with on my own, and I think that's one of the reasons it intrigues me so much. I'm pretty thrilled to be participating and I can't wait to see the story unfold.
In other, far more random news - there I was working on yet another project (though, admittedly, un-writing related) and I came across
this. It's a snippet of writing I did once upon a looooooong time ago with a very specific bent to it (it was supposed to be for a very particular interactive online writing group) but the group, to my knowledge, never went anywhere and the idea got mothballed and all but forgotten. I came across the file this evening, tweaked it slightly, and have added it to the free reads.
